About Us

She Inc. is the parent company behind SheCodes, one of the world's largest online coding schools for women, with 250,000+ students across 180 countries and over 1 million email subscribers. We are now expanding into a new vertical: financial education for women.

SheInvests will teach women how to manage their money and build long-term wealth through free, interactive online lessons. The same approach that helped 250,000 women learn to code, applied to personal finance and investing.

We are looking for the person who will build and teach this from the ground up.

The Role

You will be the face and voice of SheInvests. You will design the curriculum, record the lessons, and create the educational content that teaches women around the world how to take control of their finances.

This is not a corporate training gig where someone hands you slides, and you read them. You will own the entire educational experience: what we teach, how we teach it, and how we make it stick. You will be on camera, in front of a global audience, creating content that is clear, practical, and genuinely empowering.

We are looking for someone who can take complex financial topics and make them feel approachable, who has taught online before and understands what works on screen, and who believes that financial literacy is one of the most important skills anyone can learn.

What You'll Own

Curriculum Design

  • Design the full SheInvests curriculum from scratch, covering personal finance fundamentals, budgeting, saving, investing, portfolio building, and long-term wealth creation

  • Structure lessons into a clear, progressive learning path that takes someone from "I don't know where my money goes" to "I have an investment strategy"

  • Decide what to include and, just as importantly, what to leave out to keep things focused and actionable

  • Continuously improve the curriculum based on student feedback and results

Teaching and Recording

  • Record engaging video lessons that make financial concepts feel accessible and practical

  • Teach on camera with energy, clarity, and warmth

  • Create interactive elements, exercises, and real-world examples that reinforce learning

  • Develop companion materials: worksheets, templates, checklists, and tools students can use immediately

Content Creation

  • Write educational content for the SheInvests platform: articles, guides, and reference materials

  • Create social media content that builds an audience and establishes SheInvests as a trusted resource

  • Develop email content for student onboarding, engagement, and retention

  • Contribute to marketing content that attracts new students

Student Engagement

  • Be present in the community: answer questions, provide guidance, celebrate student progress

  • Gather and incorporate student feedback to improve the learning experience

  • Create a culture where asking "basic" questions is welcomed, not judged

Who We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of personal finance and investing: budgeting, saving, debt management, index funds, ETFs, portfolio allocation, retirement planning, and tax basics

  • Proven experience teaching or creating educational content online (courses, YouTube, workshops, webinars, or similar)

  • Comfortable and engaging on camera with the ability to explain complex topics in plain language

  • Experience designing curricula or structured learning programs

  • Excellent written and spoken English

  • Active daily use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) integrated into your workflow

  • A self-directed working style with the ability to own a project end-to-end without constant oversight

Highly valued:

  • Professional credentials in finance (CFP, CFA, or equivalent), though practical knowledge and teaching ability matter more than certifications

  • Experience creating content specifically for a female audience

  • Familiarity with interactive learning tools and platforms

  • Experience with video production: lighting, audio, editing, or at least comfort level learning these quickly

  • A following or portfolio that demonstrates your ability to teach financial topics (YouTube channel, blog, course, podcast, social media)

  • Understanding of global financial contexts (our students are in 180 countries, not just the US)

  • A genuine passion for financial inclusion, women's empowerment, or closing the gender wealth gap

What We Are NOT Looking For

  • Day traders, crypto evangelists, or anyone whose primary message is "get rich quick"

  • People who only know US-specific financial products and cannot think globally

  • Finance professionals who have never taught assume expertise equals teaching ability

  • Someone who needs a production team, a teleprompter, and a script to record a lesson

Why This Role Matters

Women consistently report lower confidence in financial decision-making, invest later and less than men, and are underserved by an industry that was not built for them. This is not because women are less capable. It is because the education has not been there.

SheInvests will change that. In the same way, SheCodes proved that 250,000 women could learn to code when given the right environment and the right teacher. SheInvests will prove that millions of women can learn to invest when someone takes the time to teach it properly.

You will be that teacher. Your lessons will be watched by women in 180 countries. Your curriculum will shape how an entire generation of women thinks about money. And you will be building this from the very beginning, with the full support of a company that has already done it once in a completely different field.

If you have the knowledge, the teaching ability, and the drive to build something that genuinely changes lives, we would love to hear from you.
